This year’s Wiregrass JROTC STEM Leadership Academy will take place from Sunday, June 4 to Friday, June 9. Nearly 120 cadets from school districts across the Wiregrass region of Alabama will be housed at Troy University in Troy, Alabama. In addition to the STEM on the Ground design challenges, cadets will participate in many traditional JCLC activities including drownproofing and drill practice. Additional training activities will take place at Butter and Egg Adventures in Troy. Cadets will also be given the opportunity to visit several local industries focusing on advanced manufacturing. We would like to thank Lockheed Martin, KW container, and Rex Lumber, as well as Enterprise State Community College and the Alabama Aviation College for opening their doors to our cadets.
