Atlanta Public Schools, Fulton County Public Schools, and Muscogee County Public Schools will work together to bring nearly 120 cadets to Columbus State University in Columbus, GA for the initial Georgia JROTC STEM Leadership Academy from Sunday, June 4 to Friday, June 9. In addition to the STEM on the Ground design challenges, cadets will participate in several traditional JCLC activities on the grounds of the newly renamed Fort Moore in Columbus, GA. Cadets will also be given the opportunity to visits several local industries with a focus on advanced manufacturing. We would like to thank Delta Airlines, Lockheed Martin, Hartsfield/Jackson International Airport, Georgia Tech University, and Clay Army National Guard Center in the Atlanta area as well as Panasonic and Columbus Water Works in the Columbus area for opening their doors to our cadets.
